  • AirTran Airways currently operates three Reservations Centers in Georgia: Atlanta, Carrollton, and Savanah.
  • Southwest Airlines Customer Representatives book, on average, 31,596 reservations daily, 221,782 reservations weekly, and 1.0 million reservations monthly. Approximately 11.5 million reservations have been booked by Southwest Airlines Customer Representatives in the last 12 months.

Hola Compañeros,
He subido dos artículos que me proporcionó el profe de Tic´s sobre ultimas tendencias en ERP.
Tengo también un caso que me ha pasado sobre tecnologías de RFID en el grupo Metro, al que pertenece por ejemplo Mediamarkt... interesante. Si alguien tiene interés hacemos copias el próximo jueves.
Lo del RFID es la tecnología por la cual los artículos que se sacan al hacer un "sinpa" en una tienda hace que suene el arco de alarma por ejemplo. Tiene muchas aplicaciones en gestión de stocks y operaciones.
Seguro que Carlos sabe un güebo de esto.

Silvio Napoli (1965, Italy), Asia/Pacific
has been a member of the Management Committee with responsibility for the Asia/Pacific region since March 1, 2008. For three years prior to that date he was head of the Jardine Schindler Group. From 2003 to 2005 he was General Manager of Schindler Lifts (Hong Kong) Ltd. From 2001 to 2003 he was Director of Corporate Development (M&A) for ALSO Holding AG. Silvio Napoli joined the Schindler Group in 1994 and has held various positions, including Vice President South Asia, President and CEO Schindler India, and Head of Corporate Planning. For three years prior to joining Schindler, Silvio Napoli held various positions with The Dow Chemical Company in Germany. He holds an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and a degree in materials science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne

Idea de Negocios: ZOPA, Como Ebay Pero con Dinero


Zopa es un site ingles recién lanzado. Es un sitio donde la gente que quiere pedir dinero prestado puede encontrarse con otros que están dispuestos a prestarlo. Quitando al intermediario, los prestamistas fijan su propia taza de retorno y escogen a quien prestarle. Zopa maneja varios “mercados”, encontrando a prestamistas con clientes de distintos perfiles de riesgo.
La genialidad esta en que para reducir el riesgo un prestamista no le presta dinero a un individuo, sino que los prestamistas “riegan” su dinero en por lo menos 50 individuos. Todos entran en un contrato legal. Zopa maneja el pago de las deudas a los prestamistas y si un individuo no paga a tiempo, entonces Zopa utiliza el mismo proceso que los bancos.
La ganancia de Zopa es el 1% del dinero que recibe la persona que solicita el préstamo.
